Supervisors to meet

WAYNE HEIGHTS–The Washington Township Board of Supervisors will meet Monday evening to discuss a variety of items.

At the last board meetings, supervisors:

Approved a conditional use order for 13716 Welty Road, Waynesboro, PA 17268, subject to several conditions. 

 Adopted and submitted to DEP for its approval a revision to the “Official Sewage Facilities Plan” of the municipality for the Joseph Brubaker Subdivision which is to be developed. 

 Approved Resolution #772 dedicating a new section of North Landis Avenue from Avalon Development Corporation to the township.

 Approved the hiring of Rochelle Moyer as a part-time reception to fill the recently vacant position.

 Accepted a donated park bench for Red Run Park that captures some of the history of the donated land that eventually became Red Run Park.  It is located near the 9/11 Tribute.  

Approved subdivision plans for a lot on Old Forge Road, and a lot on Marsh Road.

The board will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 15, in the township building on Welty Road.
