Get thrilled. A “Stranger Things” season finale watch party will be held Friday, Friday, July 8, at 7 p.m. Waynesboro Theatre, 75 W. Main St. Come watch the final episode of Season 4. Tickets are by donation. Concessions will be available for purchase.

Shop the block. Greencastle’s 55th Annual Sidewalk Days are going on Friday and Saturday, July 8 and 9 in downtown Greencastle. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. Vendors include businesses, craft and artisan vendors, merchant vendors, food trucks and community organizations. Entertainment and children’s activities are also planned throughout the two-day event.

Shop the park. The 39th Annual Arts & Crafts Fair is being held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Caledonia State Park this weekend. You’ll find a wide variety of hand-crafted items including wood carvings, custom leather, folk art, soap, baskets, needlework, pottery, stained glass, wreaths, furniture, walking sticks, silk creations and more.

Get the scoop. Scoop-a-Palooza 2022 will be held on Saturday, July 9, at the Chambersburg Area Senior High School cafeteria from 10:30 a.m-2 p.m. The 13th annual ice cream festival offers sample flavors from local ice cream shops. Participants vote on their favorites. The event also offers fun kid activities and features a Human Sundae event at 12:30 p.m. All proceeds benefit the Greater Chambersburg Chamber Foundation.

Go extreme. The Franklin County Fair Extreme Cowboy Challenge will be held Sunday, July 10, at 9:30 a.m. at the Franklin County Fairgrounds, 3725 Warm Spring Road, Chambersburg. The show is a timed event with obstacle courses and open to all levels of riders and horses. Cost is $35 to compete or $25 to watch.
