WAYNESBORO—A Waynesboro man is facing charged of indecent exposure and attempted child luring after an incident Wednesday downtown.

According to Waynesboro Police, officers were called to the 300 block of West Main Street for a report that an individual had exposed his genitalia to a woman and her 5- and 6-year-old daughters.

The woman said she and her daughters were walking across a parking lot when they saw a man wearing no pants sitting in a van facing the open van door.

According to police, the woman and her children entered an adjacent business, but the man followed them in and began speaking to the children asking them if they wanted to “go for a ride in his cool van.”

Police arrested Kevin Michael Snyder, 53, of the 100 block of Hamilton Ave., Waynesboro. He was remanded to Franklin County Prison in lieu of $20,000 bail.
