ROUZERVILLE—Local officials will hold a ceremonial ground-breaking on a new Washington Township municipal building at 11798 Buchanan Trail East, on Friday, June 3, at 11 a.m.

In addition to housing administrative functions and the Board of Supervisors’ meeting room, the new facility will include a police station and office for the tax collector.
The land was donated by local philanthropist, Alma Oyer.

The new facility was made possible through a $2 million Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program grant facilitated by Rep. Paul Schemel.

Township officials will be joined by Department of Community and Economic Development Deputy Secretary for Community Affairs and Development Rick Vilello.

The public is welcome to attend.
