WAYNESBORO—The music of Liz Springer & Joel Newman will be featured tonight, Friday, April 8, at Music Makers.
Springer is a Wammie-nominated powerhouse singer who can also croon out the softer nuances of songs. Her singing style has been compared to blues luminaries such as Bonnie Raitt and Etta James, but is also influenced by folk, rock & pop artists.
Newman is an outstanding guitarist and singer who plays everything from blues and jazz to rock and funk.
The concert is part of Live Music Fridays, held from 5:30 to 8 p.m. weekly at Music Makers, 46 W. Main St., Waynesboro. Admission is free.
