“Little Women” film to be shown this weekend in Chambersburg

CHAMBERSBURG—“Little Women” will be shown Saturday, Dec. 5, in the historic Capitol Theatre Center in Chambersburg.

The 2019 film, based on the book by Louis May Alcott, tells the story of four sisters and their lives in the years after the Civil War. It’s rated PG.

It stars Emma Watson, Saoirse Ronan, Florence Pugh and Eliza Scanlen, Laura Dern, Meryl Streep and Totem Pole Playhouse favorite Jayne Houdyshell.

The free movie begins at 2 p.m. Pre-show activities will start at 1:15 p.m. The event is presented by Novel Reels, Franklin County Libraries and Ghost Writer. Masks highly recommended.
