AURORA, NY–Hannah Kulla has been named Athlete of the Week at Wells College.
Kulla, a junior cross country athlete from Waynesboro, was selected after competing in the United Eastern Conference Championships. It was her first meet of the season and she finished 8th overall (28.08.80) in a field of more than 50 athletes.
“Hannah and I have spent weeks preparing for this meet,” said Coach Alyssa Long. “We had one goal and that was to cross the finish line. She exceeded all of my expectation and that just shows what kind of athlete she is. She placed 8th out of 58 runners training on her own. She gave her all and it paid off. Couldn’t be more proud of her accomplishment.”
