WAYNESBORO, Pa. – Spring Fest drew thousands to downtown Waynesboro on May 2, filling Main Street with food, music and family-friendly activities from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Organizers reported more than 120 retail vendors and 15 food trucks set up in the downtown corridor, offering everything from fresh-squeezed lemonade and kettle corn to soft pretzels and cake pops. Jewelry makers and other artisans lined the streets, creating a bustling marketplace atmosphere throughout the day.
Families gathered around the inflatable bounce park and a barrel train, which remained popular attractions for younger attendees. A beer garden provided a space for adults to relax while enjoying live entertainment and the spring weather.
The event coincided with the Waynesboro library’s book sale, drawing additional foot traffic and giving visitors an opportunity to browse discounted titles while supporting local programs.
With steady crowds throughout the day, Spring Fest highlighted the community’s continued support for downtown events and local businesses.
