CHAMBERSBURG – The inaugural Deck the Town: Holiday Light Display Contest, a festive competition to spread holiday cheer and raise funds for a great cause, has been announced by the Chambersburg Chamber of Commerce.
Community members are invited to enter the contest by Dec. 9. Participation is free, and the contest is open to homes and businesses in the greater Chambersburg area. This event will raise funds raised funds for the Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter.
How It Works
- Enter Your Property: Submit your holiday display (home or business) by Monday, Dec. 9 at tinyurl.com/deckthetown
- Explore the Map: On Wednesday, Dec. 11, a community map featuring all participating properties will be released for public viewing.
- Cast Your Votes: Voting runs from Dec. 11 through Dec. 22, and votes are just $1 each. All voting will be submitted online at CVBAlliance.org/Events.
- Winners Announced: Winners in the residential and commercial divisions will be announced on December 23 via Facebook.com/CburgChamber, LocalNews1 and in the next edition of the Chambersburg Chronicle.
