WAYNESBORO- The Waynesboro Christmas tree arrived at 9 a.m. on Monday, November 18. Donated by Quincy residents Matt Hess and Deanna Reed, the nearly 35-foot blue spruce was transported by DL George & Sons, with assistance from Russell Long and his grandson, Anthony. Crews from the Borough of Waynesboro, along with the Washington Township Police and Waynesboro Police, ensured a safe escort during the delivery. Decorating of the tree is set to begin on Tuesday, November 19.
