Adams County Winery will host its annual Winter Wine Release on Saturday, Nov. 23, from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. at the Farm Winery location.
The Tasting Room will be the best place to start with offerings, including samples of the three wine releases for the weekend. The wines in the spotlight will be “Visions of Sugar Plum,” which is a cabernet and lemberger blend, sweet as sugar candy with a pleasant plum taste. Last year’s “A Gettysburg Christmas” red and white blends will be re-released. These wines were a collaboration with the film by the same name in 2023. Writer and Director Bo Brinkman, will be onsite signing bottles and promoting the film, which is scheduled for showings at the Majestic Theater in Gettysburg this December. Check gettysburgmajestic.org for details and showtimes.
Get ready to experience an afternoon filled with the sounds of rock and roll, as Vintage Crew takes the Stray Cat Stage for a live performance from 1 to 4 p.m. Known for covering decades of rock classics, they will have everyone on their feet with a setlist spanning the best hits in rock history.
Bernard Cannac, the winemaker who hails from France, joined the Adams County Winery team in 2018. Cannac has brought a wealth of expertise and passion, which has elevated the wine experience for all visitors, winery owners said.
“We love to see people bonding over good music, food and great wine,” Cannac said. “The new releases really reflect our dedication to quality and creativity. I can’t wait to share them with everyone!”
The Farm Winery will be hosting several vendors during this event including, Fur Babee’s Pet Bakery, Gettysburg Olive Oil Co., DaeLinked Designs – Permanent Jewelry, K’Land Classy Farm Chic, Malibu & Co. and The Little Greenhouse. Celia’s Food Co. will be serving warm lobster rolls, short rib entrees and gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches, offering a deliciously indulgent pairing for the wines.
