WAYNESBORO–The Antietam Humane Society offers cats, dogs and a variety of animals for adoption to loving homes. For more information on providing a forever home, prospective pet owners may visit the shelter at 8513 Lyons Rd., visit the website or call them at 717-762-9091.

Keno began his journey with the Antietam shelter in quite the unique fashion after he was left on the AHS porch overnight. From there, Keno spent his time as one of the colony cats before deciding that he no longer wanted to be just an outside cat and thought being inside was pretty cool too. Keno is currently hanging out in the free-roam cattery and is ready to find his forever home!

Keno is a very spunky boy with a lot of personality to go around! He has made great strides in becoming more familiar with people and is becoming quite the snuggly boy since coming to the adoption center. He loves pets of all sorts, and while he does not enjoy being picked up very much, he will rub against your legs and hop up in your lap if he is in the mood for cuddles!

Keno is not the biggest fan of other cats (as he gets jealous and wants ALL the attention to be on him!), but he does tolerate the company of them. He is not one to start a fight and would not mind being around other cats as long as they are respectful of his space. We would consider an indoor/outdoor home for Keno as he spent many months as an outdoor only cat. As he has decided he likes the comfort of being inside, AHS would want him to be able to make that choice for himself if he did want to hang out inside compared to outside.

Keno is ready to find his forever home; prospective owners are asked to please stop in if Keno sounds like the perfect addition to your family!

Keno is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
