On Friday night, the Hooverville Elementary School community gathered for their annual Trunk-or- Treat event. Families and friends filled the parking lot, where creatively decorated cars lined up, each offering a variety of treats. Laughter and excitement echoed as children in costumes eagerly collected candy and participated in fun activities. The evening was a delightful celebration of the Halloween spirit, bringing everyone together to enjoy the festive atmosphere.
In addition to Hooverville Elementary, Summitview Elementary School in Waynesboro also hosted its Trunk-or-Treat event, which had been rescheduled due to weather concerns. The evening was filled with festive decorations and numerous trunks offering candy and treats, creating a fun and safe atmosphere for students and their families.
