Sip, savor, celebrate at Chambersburg’s Beer Fest

CHAMBERSBURG – The 1st annual Falling Spring Beer Fest is set to take place in Downtown Chambersburg on Saturday, Oct. 26, at Chambers Fort Park, located at 40 Spring St. This event will feature a variety of regional breweries, including local favorites from Chambersburg and Franklin County.

Attendees can look forward to sampling brews from several well-known breweries:

  • GearHouse Brewing
  • Barrel House Brewing
  • Michaux Brewing
  • Hidden Key Brewing
  • Cushwa Brewing
  • Berg Brewing (a local homebrewer)

The festival will also showcase live music from the local band Mockingbird, known for their extensive repertoire that spans more than five decades. Their setlist includes covers from iconic artists such as Van Morrison, Tom Petty, Chris Stapleton and Foo Fighters.

Tickets for the event are priced at $40 in advance and will be available for $45 on the day of the event. Each ticket grants access to a two-hour tasting window, during which attendees can enjoy unlimited small pours directly from the participating breweries. Additionally, each ticket includes a souvenir tasting glass and access to live entertainment. Food options will also be available for purchase.

  • Age Policy: This event is strictly for individuals aged 21 and over. IDs will be checked at the door, so attendees should bring a government-issued identification.
  • Dog Policy: While dogs are generally welcome in many settings, they are not permitted at this event due to space constraints. However, service dogs will be allowed.

The Falling Spring Beer Fest is organized as a fundraiser for Downtown Chambersburg Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to revitalizing and enhancing the quality of life in downtown Chambersburg.
