Odds weren’t in Bradyn Kuhn’s favor, but the Greencastle driver remained focused and kept his eyes on the prize.

Kuhn’s steady approach paid off with a trip to Victory Lane in Saturday’s 270 Sprints feature at Path Valley Speedway.

After a lukewarm heat race that saw Kuhn drive from seventh to fifth, he drew the 10th position for the feature. Kuhn made continuous forward progress and seized the front position with seven laps remaining. He never relinquished his lead.

Kevin Bard, of Chambersburg, secured a win in the Thunder Cars feature over Justin Rasp and Nicholas Barthalow. Another Chambersburg driver, Malachi Doyle, drove to a 10th-place finish in the Strictly Stocks race.

The main event at Path Valley was the East Coast Legends Series Summer Slam, a feature which saw Jeremy Ott triumph over Scott Houdeshell and Logan Carbaugh. Chambersburg’s Devin Friese finished in fourth, while Fairfield’s Seth Kearchner took sixth.

Two weeks remain in the Path Valley racing season, which resumes this weekend with a five-feature race program.

Elsewhere, at Williams Grove Speedway, Fayetteville driver Lance Dewease competed at the two-night National Open. He competed in two C Main races, finishing 10th and 14th.

Below is a speedway-by-speedway, feature-by-feature look at how area drivers performed last weekend.
