WAYNESBORO- Waynesboro faced a tough challenge during their Homecoming game on Friday, ultimately losing to Northern York 30-27. Despite strong performances from players like Calvin Myers and Hayden Nolan, who combined for over 200 receiving yards and three touchdowns, the Indians struggled to contain the Polar Bears’ potent offense, led by running back Gabe Johnson and quarterback Grady Bonin. The game featured a pivotal 23-yard field goal by Anna Lehman that extended Northern’s lead, while Waynesboro’s late efforts fell short as they couldn’t stop Northern’s final drive, leaving them with a record of 4-2 for the season.
