WAYNESBORO – The Borough of Waynesboro hosted its annual Dog Day at the Pool on Saturday, Sept. 7, where more than 70 dogs of various breeds, from Great Danes to Jack Russells, splashed joyfully at the Northside Pool on Brown Street. This community event, which ran from 1 to 4 p.m., provided a perfect opportunity for dogs and their owners to enjoy one last swim before the summer season officially came to a close. Participants were encouraged to bring a new bag of dog food for the Antietam Humane Society, with proceeds benefiting the Northside Dog Park.
