Washington Township Police seek public’s help in retail theft case

WAYNESBORO — The Washington Township Police Department is requesting assistance from the public to identify two individuals connected to a recent retail theft incident. The theft occurred on at about 9:10 p.m. on Aug. 20, at the Walmart store at 12751 Washington Township Blvd.

Authorities have identified a male and a female as persons of interest in the case, which is documented under case number WTPD2024-06262. However, the identities of these individuals have not been disclosed to the public.

The police department is urging anyone with information about the identity of these individuals or any details concerning the incident to come forward. Those with relevant information are asked to contact the Washington Township Police Department at 717-762-1447 or 717-762-1145.

Law enforcement officials have emphasized that callers may remain anonymous when providing information. They have also requested that members of the public refrain from posting any identities or accusations online to maintain the integrity of the investigation.
