CHAMBERSBURG — The third annual Rally in the Valley Pickleball Tournament has been set for Oct. 4 and 5. Sponsored by the Chambersburg Chamber of Commerce and the Chambersburg Memorial YMCA, the event will be at the YMCA, 570 E. McKinley St.
Participants can take advantage of early bird pricing at $40 per person, which includes a T-shirt and swag bag, before Sept. 3. After that the fee will increase to $50 per person. The entry deadline for the tournament is Sept. 27. No refunds will be issued after this date, although extenuating circumstances will be considered. The tournament schedule includes:
- Friday Evening: Mixed Doubles (60+ and Under 60)
- Check-in at 4 p.m., with play beginning at 5 p.m.
- Saturday Morning: Women’s Doubles (60+ and Under 60)
- Check-in at 7 a.m., with play starting at 8 a.m.
- Saturday Late Morning: Men’s Doubles (60+ and Under 60)
- Check-in at 10 a.m., with play estimated to begin at 11 a.m.
All matches will be held indoors at the YMCA, ensuring a comfortable environment for players and spectators alike. Funds raised will support local businesses through the Chamber, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the YMCA. Questions may be directed to the YMCA at 717-263-8508.
