WAYNESBORO –Sunflowers and Queen Anne’s Lace are blooming a local pollinator and wildlife habitat. And the public is invited to come look, take pictures and take home a bouquet!
Members of the Church of the Apostles, United Church of Christ, 336 Barnett Ave., are inviting the community to come any time to prune the flowers and enjoy the view. A church member will be available to help cut bouquets from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday through Wednesday. Anyone wishing help cutting a bouquet at another time may phone Bob Benchoff at 717-377-4729 or email him at [email protected].
For safety reasons, church members suggest parking in the grass along Barnett Avenue.
