PennDOT Completes Bridge Replacement on Route 116 Near Gettysburg

HARRISBURG — A $935,279 bridge replacement project on Route 116 near Gettysburg in Adams County has been completed, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. 

The bridge, which spans a tributary to Willoughby Run just west of Willoughby Run Road in Cumberland Township, is now open to traffic, PennDOT officials said. 

This project consisted of the replacement of the existing structure, minor approach work, guide rail updates and other miscellaneous construction.

Lobar Site Development Corporation, of Dillsburg, was the contractor.
