Waynesboro Celebrates Local Economy with Inaugural Small Business Week

WAYNESBORO- James and Jess’ House of Goods has announced Waynesboro’s Small Business Week, set to take place from Saturday, August 3 to Saturday, August 10. This week-long event aims to showcase and support the vibrant local business community in downtown Waynesboro.

Event Highlights:

• Shop Local Challenge: Customers who spend $50 or more at three different brick-and-mortar small businesses will receive a free, custom-designed Shop Local t-shirt or tote bag (while supplies last).

• Raffle: Exciting prizes donated by local businesses will be raffled off to participating shoppers.

• Special Promotions: Many businesses will offer unique deals and discounts throughout the week.

“We’re excited to bring the community together to celebrate and support our local businesses,” says James, owner of James and Jess’ House of Goods. “This event is not just about shopping; it’s about recognizing the vital role these businesses play in our local economy and community.”

Participating businesses span a wide range of sectors, including retail shops, restaurants, galleries, and service providers. The event has already garnered enthusiastic support from numerous local establishments.

How to Participate:

1. Visit any brick-and-mortar small business in downtown Waynesboro from August 3rd to August 10th.

2. Collect receipts totaling $50 or more from at least three different brick-and-mortar small businesses.

3. Bring receipts to James and Jess’ House of Goods by 5 PM on August 10th to claim rewards.
