WAYNESBORO– Renfrew Museum and Park will offer a free yoga sessions this Friday, July 26, providing residents and visitors an opportunity to exercise and relax in a scenic outdoor setting. The “Yoga Flow” program, takes place on select Friday mornings from 9 to 10 a.m. in the Museum House Backyard.
Certified instructor Laurie Hovermale of WBO Health & Fitness leads the sessions, which focus on relaxation, flexibility, and strength through basic yoga poses. Participants of all ages and fitness levels are welcome to join the classes, which aim to connect movement and breath.
No reservations are required, but attendees must bring their own yoga mats. The program is weather-dependent, with the Wagon Shed Room in the Visitors Center serving as a rain location when available. Children may attend under adult supervision. A waiver is required for first-time participants each season. Parking is available in the Visitors Center Lot off Main Street or in the Lower Lot off Welty Road, with restrooms located a short walk from the yoga area.
