LEITERSBURG, Md. – Local musician Ted Casper of Mercersburg captivated audiences with an evening-long performance at the Friday Night Music Fest on July 19. The event, organized by Interludes with Impact, served as a fundraiser for Sleep in Heavenly Peace, a Hagerstown-based charity. The outdoor concert, held from 7 to 9 p.m., was part of a matching fund initiative, with Modern Woodmen of America pledging to match donations up to $800. Attendees were encouraged to contribute on a donation-only basis, with all net proceeds benefiting the charity. Sleep in Heavenly Peace volunteers offered summer food and drinks starting at 6:30 p.m., also available for donation. Concertgoers brought chairs and blankets to enjoy the performance in the open-air setting. Interludes with Impact, a Leitersburg-based organization known for its mobile stage collaborations with various causes in the Quad State area, produced the live music event. The concert was the sixth installment in the fifth year of the Friday Night Music Fest series. The fundraiser highlighted the ongoing partnership between local musicians, community organizations, and worthy causes.
