WAYNESBORO— A few dozen people gathered on the lawn of Renfrew Museum and Park on Thursday evening, July 18, for the latest installment of the Judy Elden Memorial Summer Concert Series. Attendees, seated comfortably in lawn chairs and on blankets, enjoyed a free concert by the Note Riders, a duo comprised of Brad Munn and Brian Shermeyer. The Note Riders captivated the audience with their signature blend of classic rock, jazz rock, and jazz fusion. The concert, which began at 6:30 p.m., was part of a series named in memory of Judy Elden, a cherished Renfrew employee who passed away in March 2019. Elden was known for her love of music and her warm interactions with concertgoers. Renfrew Museum and Park hosts these concerts every Thursday evening throughout the summer, providing a serene backdrop for live music behind the Museum House. The events are free to the public, though donations are welcomed to support the continuation of the series. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own refreshments and are reminded that Renfrew is a non-smoking facility where alcohol is prohibited.
