GREENCASTLE- The historic downtown of Greencastle transformed into a bustling marketplace yesterday as the 57th Annual Greencastle Sidewalk Days kicked off its two-day extravaganza. The event, organized by the Greencastle-Antrim Chamber of Commerce, continues today with a diverse array of activities, food vendors, and entertainment. Friday’s festivities ran from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., drawing crowds to the charming streets of downtown Greencastle. Today, Saturday, July 13, the event is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., offering visitors another chance to experience the community’s vibrant atmosphere.
Attendees can look forward to a wide variety of culinary delights from local and regional vendors. The food lineup includes popular treats such as funnel cakes, kettle corn, and artisanal pretzels, as well as more substantial offerings like crab cakes and traditional Balkan cuisine. In addition to the gastronomic offerings, dozens of local vendors are showcasing their crafts, goods, and creations. Families with young children will find plenty of entertainment at the dedicated KidsZone, which continues to be a highlight of the event.
