SHIPPENSBURG– A local nonprofit is offering a chance to win a classic American muscle car while supporting a worthy cause at the upcoming Shippensburg Community Fair.
Wheels for Women, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing reliable used vehicles to women in need, is raffling off a 2006 Ford Mustang with 76,000 miles on the odometer.
The raffle will take place during the fair, which runs from July 22-27. Interested participants can purchase tickets at the Truck Mart/Car Starz booth on the fairgrounds or online through the organization’s website.
The winner will be randomly selected and announced on July 27 at 6 p.m. Ticket holders do not need to be present to win. All proceeds from the raffle will benefit Wheels for Women’s mission of providing transportation assistance to women facing economic challenges.
The Shippensburg Community Fair, a longstanding local tradition, offers a variety of attractions including agricultural exhibits, carnival rides, and food vendors. The addition of the Wheels for Women raffle adds a philanthropic element to the festivities.
