Cumberland Valley to Honor Rising Stars

CHAMBERSBURG- The Cumberland Valley Business Alliance (CVBA) is now accepting nominations for its annual Young Professional Awards. The awards recognize outstanding individuals under 40 who live or work in the Cumberland Valley region.Nominations are due by Monday, July 22 for seven award categories:

  • Athena Young Professional Award
  • Young Professional Employer of the Year
  • Rising Star Award
  • Entrepreneur of the Year
  • Educator of the Year
  • Nonprofit Young Professional of the Year
  • Volunteer of the Year

To be eligible, nominees must be 40 years old or younger and either reside or be employed in the Cumberland Valley area.The CVBA will announce award winners at a formal ceremony in late September.The Young Professional Awards aim to highlight emerging leaders and their contributions to the local business community and nonprofit sector. Past recipients have included entrepreneurs, educators, volunteers and rising stars in various industries.Nomination forms and additional details are available on the CVBA website. The organization encourages community members to nominate deserving young professionals who are making an impact in the Cumberland Valley region.
