FAYETTEVILLE- The Penn National Golf Club & Inn is set to host a charity golf tournament on Thursday, June 27, benefiting local healthcare and a medical school.
The event offers participants a choice between two award-winning courses, Founders or Iron Forge, with morning and afternoon flights available. The tournament will follow a 4-person scramble format with a shotgun start.
Golfers can expect a comprehensive package including greens fees, cart rental, access to driving range and putting green, as well as snacks and beverages throughout the day. Morning participants will be treated to a continental breakfast and lunch, while the afternoon group will enjoy lunch and evening hors d’oeuvres.
This charitable event continues a tradition of golf tournaments supporting various causes in the area. The upcoming tournament aims to raise funds for local healthcare initiatives and a medical school. Meritus Foundation, a private, not-for-profit organization, will manage the proceeds to support community health improvement, education, and patient care access programs.
Awards ceremonies will follow each flight, recognizing outstanding performances on the course. The event provides an opportunity for golf enthusiasts to enjoy a day on the greens while contributing to a worthy cause. Interested parties can find more information about registration and sponsorship opportunities through the Penn National Golf Club & Inn website or by contacting the Meritus Foundation directly.
