Daemon is a Parvovirus survivor. Parvovirus attacks white blood cells and the gastrointestinal tract of dogs. Parvovirus is a very serious and potentially fatal virus. When he arrived at the shelter it was evident that Daemon did not feel well at all. He was dehydrated, vomiting, and had diarrhea. A Parvo test was performed, and it was positive. Daemon was taken to the vet for a follow up on his positive test. With supportive care, Daemon was able to overcome the serious virus! He is an 11-month-old terrier mix who has overcome a lot in his short life already and is now looking forward to the future.
