Renfrew Museum Offers Free ‘Yoga Flow’ Sessions in Scenic Backyard

WAYNESBORO, Pa. – Renfrew Museum and Park is offering free yoga sessions on select Friday mornings from 9 to 10 a.m. in the Museum House Backyard, beginning in June and running through August.

The “Yoga Flow” classes, led by certified instructor Laurie Hovermale of WBO Health & Fitness, focus on relaxation, flexibility, and strength through basic yoga poses connecting movement and breath. The classes are accessible to all ages and fitness levels.

No reservation is required, but participants must bring their own yoga mats and sign a waiver at their first visit of the season. The program will be held on the lawn behind the Museum House, weather permitting, with the Wagon Shed Room in the Visitors Center serving as the rain location.

Children are welcome to attend under the supervision of a responsible adult. Parking is available in the Visitors Center Lot off Main Street/Buchanan Trail/PA-16 or the Lower Lot off Welty Road, with restrooms located at the Visitors Center.

The 2024 Yoga Flow schedule, subject to change based on instructor availability, includes sessions on June 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th; July 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th; and August 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th.
