Alanis arrived at the shelter with another dog as a stray. She is a 4-year-old Poodle/lab mix who will need someone that understands that they will need to regularly groom her as she does have longer hair (she is clipped short right now). Alanis is on the shy side at first but does warm up and will eventually be your best buddy the more she is around you! She does have a bad habit of trying to walk in between your legs while you are walking – we’re working on it at the shelter. Alanis may do better in a home with another more confident dog. She does know sit and will work for tasty treats! She would love to find her loving forever home soon! Alanis is currently not in our adoption area due to space; she will be shown to those with approved applications only at this time.
