WAYNESBORO- “America the Beautiful” exhibit at Gallery 50 will open on Friday, May 3, 5:30 to 8 p.m. The exhibition, which will run through August 10, promises to be a visually stunning exploration of the diverse landscapes and cultures that make up the United States. Attendees of the opening reception will not only be able to immerse themselves in the captivating artwork on display, but they will also be treated to the soulful and eclectic sounds of the Prophets of the Abstract Truth. This talented trio of musicians, consisting of Carl Disque, Arnie Helmick, and Bob Courter, will be performing next door in the Music Makers venue.
The Prophets of the Abstract Truth are known for their ability to seamlessly blend a wide range of musical genres, including blues, bossa nova, and Latin-tinged modern jazz standards. They also put their own unique spin on classic tunes from the likes of the Grateful Dead, Allman Brothers, and even the Beatles.
