The Franklin County Career and Technology Center (FCCTC) has demonstrated its commitment to the local community through the efforts of its HOSA (Future Healthcare Professionals) student organization. During a recent community drive, the HOSA students collected over 200 personal care items for the Children’s Aid Society.
The FCCTC administration expressed its gratitude to the entire “CareerTech Family” for their generous donations, which will help support the children in the community. The school also congratulated the Medical Assisting students for bringing in the most donations, showcasing their dedication to making a positive impact.
The community drive organized by the HOSA students is a testament to the school’s focus on developing well-rounded individuals who are not only skilled in their chosen fields but also socially conscious and engaged with their local community. By encouraging such initiatives, the FCCTC is nurturing the next generation of healthcare professionals who understand the importance of giving back and supporting those in need.
This collaborative effort between the FCCTC and the local community highlights the school’s commitment to fostering a culture of compassion, empathy, and social responsibility among its students. As they continue to excel in their academic and career-focused programs, the FCCTC students are also learning valuable lessons about the power of collective action and the positive impact they can have on their community.
