HAGERSTOWN- The Washington County Department of Business and Economic Development (DBED) has announced the return of the Washington County Career Expo on April 17.  Hosted in partnership with Hagerstown Community College (HCC) for the second time, this event will take place at HCC’s Athletic, Recreation, and Community Center (ARCC).

Building on the success of the previous Expo, we anticipate a robust turnout of both employers and job seekers.  Thanks to the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA program, booth space is available at no cost to employers, ensuring a diverse array of organizations from industries such as manufacturing, healthcare, education, local government, public safety, etc. will be present.

Attendees can look forward to engaging in job workshops, employer workshops, and networking opportunities.  Whether you’re seeking new career prospects or looking to recruit top talent, the Washington County Career Expo is the place to be.

Registration is still open, so users should not miss out on this valuable opportunity. Individuals are invited to join the event on April 17th to connect, learn, and grow. Interested parties can visit www.hagerstowncc.edu/careerexpo to register and learn more. If additional information is required, users are encouraged to contact Linda Spence, Business Specialist, Washington County Department of Business and Economic Development at [email protected].
