GREENCASTLE- The Greencastle-Antrim School District is making its mark on the new Franklin County Courthouse in Chambersburg. Third grade students were invited to submit artwork that depicted the “Heart of Franklin County,” and the winning submissions will be placed in a time capsule to be sealed within the courthouse. The time capsule project aims to capture the creativity and perspectives of the local community’s youngest members, preserving a piece of the region’s history for future generations to discover. School officials expressed excitement about this opportunity, noting that it allows students to engage with their local government and contribute to the legacy of the new courthouse.
