Howlett came into the shelter as a stray. He’s a 1-year-old Akita mix who can be stubborn at times, but is basically a happy, handsome fellow. He likes to be around people and will need someone who has experience with stubborn breeds and is willing to work with him. Howlett knows sit and shake and loves to go outside for walks and play in the yard! He is treat motivated and enjoys Kong toys. Howlett did test positive for Lyme but is currently on antibiotics for it. Due to no past history, an age restriction for children in the home may apply, please discuss this with shelter staff. Patchwork is a 3-year-old tortoiseshell cat who came into the shelter as a stray. She’s a really nice girl who actually loves belly rubs if you can believe it! Patchwork does not seem to care for the company of other cats and may do best as the only cat in the household. She’s got really pretty golden eyes and will make someone a sweet companion.
