Partake in a Mushroom Feast. Setas Mushrooms will host its 1st Annual Grand Feast event from 2 to 7 p.m. The event will take place at their location at 7189 Hege Rd in Greencastle, on Saturday, March 30, and promises to be a day filled with a variety of activities and attractions. Attendees can look forward to live music, over 20 vendors at the Farmers Market, guided and unguided tours, and a cash bar. The highlight of the event will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 5 p.m., followed by a Top Chef competition. Additionally, the first 1,000 people in attendance will be treated to a complimentary dinner.

Go Yard Sailing– The Annual Community Yard Sale in Grindstone Hill Development in Chambersburg is scheduled for Easter weekend, taking place on Friday, March 29 and Saturday, March 30 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Residents and visitors alike can explore a variety of items along Grindstone Hill Road, Honey Rock Road, Hartzok Road, Stitley Road, Wayne Road, and Rock Hill Road. Expect a diverse selection of goods from estate sales, downsizing items, clothing for all ages, household goods, crafts, and more. Delicious food offerings such as baked goods and homemade soup will also be available to enhance the shopping experience.

Enjoy a Performance. The Star Theatre in Mercersburg is set to host a special Easter-themed musical production titled “Forever Changed”. The show will take the audience on a poignant journey, following the events after the crucifixion of Jesus. The performance features a gathering of Jesus’ closest companions, including his mother Mary, John, Mary Magdalene, and Peter, as they wait to see if the prophecies of his resurrection on the third day will come to pass. During this time, the characters reflect on the profound impact Jesus had on their lives and try to make sense of his tragic fate. Go Dancing. The Barrel House in Chambersburg will host a fun-filled evening of line dancing with Kickin’ It Classy on Friday, March 29 from 6 to 9 p.m.. Attendees can enjoy the lively music and dancing for a $10 cover charge at the door. In addition to the line dancing, the event will feature a Build Your Own Brim Hat Bar, where guests can customize their own hats with 25 points of embellishments included in the price. Brim hats are available for $65, and ball caps for $35, allowing attendees to create a unique accessory to complement their evening. To complete the experience, the venue will be serving delicious pizza from Peculiar Pizza, as well as offering a selection of refreshing drinks.

Learn About Easter. The Jonathan Hager House Museum in Hagerstown, MD will host a series of German Easter Tours. This special seasonal event offers visitors the opportunity to immerse themselves in the rich history and traditions surrounding the Easter holiday. Throughout the day, the museum will be offering tours at 10 a.m., Noon, and 2 p.m., on March 29 and 30, where guests can learn about the origins of beloved Easter symbols, such as the Easter bunny and the tradition of egg-laying. The tours will delve into the fascinating folklore and heritage that have shaped these timeless Eastertide customs.
