Abby is an 8-year-old hound mix who arrived at the shelter as a stray with a bad skin infection and double ear infection. Her ears were so bad that the inflammation closed the canals of her ears completely. She needed several rounds of medications to clear up her ear infections and her skin infection. She’s doing a lot better now, but because of ear infections, Abby’s ear flaps are thickened. Potential adopters should be aware that Abby may need regular care on her ears to be sure that they do not get infected like they were when she arrived at the shelter. Abby does have a soft lump on her mammary chain that was checked by a veterinarian and there was not a concern to remove it at this time. Abby has also tested positive for Lyme Disease and she’s on antibiotics. Abby would love to find a quiet home where she can spend her golden years! She is the sweetest girl you will ever meet and knows sit and shake. She is a polite treat taker and enjoys going for walks. She has been through so much in her life that she deserves to be spoiled in a home to call her own. If you have the right spot for Abby, please fill out an application today. CVAS, 5051 Letterkenny Road West, Chambersburg, PA. Kennel License #2090
Sassy came back to the shelter after being in a home for several years because she just wouldn’t get along with the dog in the home. Sassy is a 9-year-old brown tabby and had been front declawed. She can be an opinionated girl who likes attention on her terms. A home without dogs would be best for Sassy. Can you give her a second chance?
