He soon forms an unlikely bond with a brainy but damaged troublemaker, and with the school’s head cook, a woman who just lost a son in the Vietnam War.
Saturday, Mar. 2, 7 p.m. “Boys In The Boat” (PG-13 2:05) During the height of the Great Depression, members of the rowing team at the University of Washington get thrust into the spotlight as they compete for gold at the 1936 Olympics in Berlin.
Sunday, Mar. 3, 4 p.m. “The Shift” (PG-13 1:55) After a tense encounter with a mysterious stranger who has otherworldly powers, a man gets banished to a parallel Earth where he fights to get back to the woman he loves.
