Dust off Your Tiara. The Washington County Parks and Recreation Department will host a Superhero and Princess Party on Friday, Feb. 23, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Hagerstown Community College ARCC Gym. This family-friendly event will have a variety of activities for children, including sand art, moon bounces, scooters, temporary tattoos, scheduled entertainment, coloring, and more. Child tickets include an activity bag for use at different stations throughout the evening. Superhero and/or Princess costumes are encouraged, and the event will culminate in a capes and tiaras parade for all participants. Tickets are required for entry, priced at $7 per child and $2 per adult.

Boot, Scoot, and Boogie Down. Get ready for a night of foot-stompin’ fun at the Capitol Theatre Chambersburg on Saturday, Feb. 24, as Mountain Music & Moonshine takes the stage at 7 p.m. This annual event promises to be a treat for bluegrass fans, featuring two popular regional bands, Remington Ryde and Dead Horse Revival. In addition to the fantastic music, a variety of moonshine, whiskey, bourbon, beer, and wine will be available for purchase throughout the evening, starting at 6 p.m. when the doors open. Standard concessions and non-alcoholic beverages will also be available.

Exercise your Green Thumb. Join Little Green House for a creative and relaxing terrarium lamp workshop on Sunday, Feb. 25, at 3 p.m. The event will take place at Rough Edges Brewery and will include everything you need to craft your own beautiful terrarium lamp, including the lamp, grow light, plants, and all necessary materials. It’s the perfect opportunity to unleash your creativity and add a touch of green to your living space. Register online.

Test your Trivia Skills. The Mercersburg Lions Community Park Association will host a fundraiser trivia night on Saturday, Feb. 24, at 5 p.m. at the Greencastle Sportsman Clubhouse. Teams of up to 6 people can participate, with each team required to stay at their table during each round. The event will feature three rounds of trivia, with cash prizes awarded to the teams with the highest final scores. Additional activities include thematic “knock out” games and a 50/50 round. It’s set to be an exciting and competitive evening in support of a good cause.

Watch Piano’s Duel it Out. On Saturday, Feb 24 at 5 p.m., music enthusiasts are in for a treat at the Break Away II Warehouse in Hagerstown, MD, where a Dueling Pianos Dinner and Show will take place. Attendees can anticipate an evening filled with entertainment as talented pianists engage in a musical showdown, encouraging audience members to request their favorite songs.
