Over 100 Student Artworks to Shine at USMH-WCPS Art Event in Hagerstown

HAGERSTOWN, MD – In partnership with Washington County Public Schools (WCPS), the University System of Maryland at Hagerstown (USMH) will host the Washington County High School Student Art Reception on Thursday, February 29.  Open to the public, the reception will begin at 6:30 pm and feature more than 100 works from local public and private high school students in the USMH Hospitality Center located at 55-59 W. -Washington Street.  The top three selections from each of the five juried categories [3-D (ceramic, sculptures), drawing, painting, digital photography, and digital media] and a best in show will be recognized; all sixteen selections will be on display to the public in USMH lobby located at 32 W. Washington Street from March 1 through March 15.
