ROUZERVILLE – Lenca Coffee Roasters is making changes to suit the business climate. “We’ve closed our drive through coffee window for the time being” said Emilio Garcia, Lenca’s owner, “but we’re still roasting coffee.”

Located in the former M&T bank building at 11973 Buchanan Trail East in Waynesboro, he doesn’t need the bank vault, but you can tell he feels Lenca Coffee is special. This is the second location roasting Lenca Coffee. The first is in Chambersburg under the name Abednego Coffee Roasters.

“My business has a long tail” he said. As reported earlier, Garcia is a 4th generation coffee grower from Honduras. His earliest goal was to find roasters to sell his coffee, but he’s now solidly expanded into the roasting business.

“We import and sell wholesale to a lot of retail coffee companies. We’re still doing that and the Buchanan Trail location adds capacity.” he said. “We still want to get more deeply into the retail end of the business, but are taking a pause.”

Lenca Coffee Roasters coffee is available for sale online at lencacoffeeroasters.com. Emilio can ship it to you, or you can pick it up by arrangement at [email protected], or you can call at 9448-(717) 660.
