Community Unites for Clean County Clean-Up at River Bottom Park

HAGERSTOWN, MD- The Washington County Clean County Initiative and the Town of Williamsport are organizing a Clean County Clean-Up event on April 20, from 9 a.m. to noon at River Bottom Park in Hagerstown, MD. This joint clean-up effort presents an opportunity for the community to come together and contribute to the preservation of the local environment. The event is not only a chance to make a tangible impact on the cleanliness of the area but also an opportunity for students to earn Student Service Learning (SSL) hours.

It’s important to note that the Washington County Highway Department has announced a road closure on Lehmans Mill Rd between Marsh Pike and Millers Church Road on Thursday, February 8, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This closure is due to culvert repair, and detour routes will be available to minimize inconvenience.
