WAYNESBORO- Washington Township Supervisor Dan DeDona has resigned his position. The resignation was delivered to Chairman Charlie Strausbaugh on Jan. 9, effective the same day. Mr DeDona returned for the “From the Floor” segment of the supervisor’s meeting on Jan. 15 to apologize for his abrupt departure, and to wish the board well finding a replacement and moving forward into the future. Later in the same meeting, the board approved former supervisor Barb McCracken’s return to fill the remaining two years of Mr DeDona’s term. Chairman Strausbaugh wished Mr DeDona good luck in his future endeavors, and welcomed Mrs McCracken back to the board.
