CHAMBERSBURG- The Cumberland Valley Business Alliance (CVBA) is now accepting nominations for its annual Awards Breakfast. The breakfast will be held on Thursday, March 28, in Chambersburg.
The CVBA Awards Breakfast is a prestigious event that recognizes and celebrates the achievements of businesses and individuals in the Cumberland Valley. This year, the CVBA is introducing two new awards: the Bravery in Blue Award and the Courageous Responder Award.
Award Categories
- Athena Leadership Award: Recognizes an outstanding woman who demonstrates excellence in leadership, professional achievement, and community service.
- Event of the Year: Recognizes an outstanding event that had a significant positive impact on the Cumberland Valley community.
- Emerging Business Leader: Recognizes an outstanding young entrepreneur or business leader who is making a significant impact on the Cumberland Valley economy.
- Employer of the Year: Recognizes an outstanding employer who provides a positive and productive work environment for their employees.
- Innovator of the Year: Recognizes an outstanding individual or business that has developed a new or innovative product, service, or process.
- Nonprofit of the Year: Recognizes an outstanding nonprofit organization that is making a significant difference in the Cumberland Valley community.
- Spirit of the Community: Recognizes an individual or business that has gone above and beyond to make the Cumberland Valley a better place to live and work.
- Bravery in Blue Award: Recognizes a law enforcement officer who has demonstrated exceptional bravery in the line of duty.
- Courageous Responder Award: Recognizes a firefighter, EMT, or other first responder who has demonstrated exceptional courage in the line of duty.
