HAGERSTOWN, MD- In response to the recent weather system that impacted Washington County, MD, local authorities and the Washington County Highway Department have taken necessary measures to ensure public safety. As a result, several roads in the area have been temporarily closed.
The following roads are currently closed:
- Cresspond Road
- Wishard Road
- Kemps Mill Road at the old mill
- Independence Road
The following roads have been reopened:
- Ashton Road
For the safety of everyone, residents and motorists are requested to adhere to road closures and detour signs. Attempting to pass through closed roads can not only endanger your life but also disrupt the ongoing recovery efforts.
