CVAS Pet of the Week: Peyton

Looking for a new friend? The Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter is featuring these Pets of the Week. For more information, visit http://www.cvas-pets.org/ or call 717-263-5791.

Petyon is one of our longterm residents – he has been at the shelter since June 2023 and would really like to know what life is like outside of a cage. He’s one of the first cats in our adoption area and loves to greet everyone. He’s a 1-year-old brown tabby with white who has a lot of personality. Could Peyton be the boy for you?

Bear

At the Beginning of December 2023, CVAS had 12 dogs surrendered after their owner had passed away. Bear was one of them. He lived his whole life in a barn stall and he was dirty and incredibly scared when he first got here. He has come a long way since that day in December, but as far as we know, Bear has never lived in a house and will need time to adjust. He will need a home where people have the patience to work with him in new situations and help him blossom. Bear is a 6-year-old lab mix and he may not be the bravest boy, but we know he can become a best friend. Could he be yours?
