BOARD ACTIONS

Community Connections – Lease agreement between the County of Franklin and i360 Rentals for the HUD Permanent Supportive Housing Lease Program that covers the total rent plus any landlord covered utilities for their program participants at a cost of $8,011.62 for the period of December 14, 2023 through December 14, 2024. The County holds the Lease with the landlord and the program participant subleases from the County. Program participants are responsible for utilities that are not included in the lease/rent. The rent and utilities cannot equal more than 30% of the program participant’s adjusted gross income for the year. Participants are linked with Supportive Services and case management to assist them with maintaining permanent stable housing.

2. Courts – Contract amendment to the Conflict Attorney Contract (dated March 23, 2022) between the County of Franklin and the Law Office of Eric J. Weisbrod. The contractor to the initial agreement is Eric J. Weisbrod. Attorney Weisbrod was elected as the District Attorney for Fulton County, Pennsylvania with a term commencing January 1, 2024. Matthew Militello, Esq. will fulfill the duties as outlined in the original contract. All other terms and conditions of the original contract will remain in full force and effect.

3. **Property Management – Proposal from Berkshire Systems Group, Inc. for renewal of Fire Alarm Testing and Inspections of the fire alarm system located at the Judicial Center, Historic Courthouse and the Courthouse Annex at a cost of $15,344.00 for the period of April 1, 2024 through March 31, 2025. The alarm systems installed at these sites are proprietary to Berkshire. Berkshire installed the systems in both the Judicial Center and the Historic Courthouse, and they will be installing the fire alarm system in the Courthouse Annex.
