WAYNESBORO- Mainstreet Waynesboro and F&M Trust partnered to host the sixth annual Boro Blast on New Year’s Eve in downtown Waynesboro. The event brought families together for fun activities and giveaways at two locations: Main Street Park and The Counting House Banquet & Event Center.
The highlight of the evening was the dropping of a giant chicken McNugget, honoring McDonald’s 50th year in Waynesboro. National Art Honor Society students from Waynesboro Area Senior High School crafted the impressive McNugget under the guidance of art teacher Melanie Erb.
